Initiating probate proceedings
A notary or court initiates probate proceedings ex officio or at the request of heirs.

Inheritance decision
The notary or court issues an inheritance decision determining the heirs and their shares.

Cadastre registration
Based on the final inheritance decision, heirs submit an application for registration of ownership rights.

Tax obligations
First-order heirs (children, spouse, parents) are exempt from tax. Others pay 3% inheritance tax.
